Hey guys, so have you been to any floating market before??
Well, since the only floating market i have ever heard before is only in Thailand... so I guess I might not have a chance to experience this...
but hey!! I heard there is one floating market in Malaysia and it is the first time evahhhhh for the Malaysian to have this experience. This place named as 'Pasar Terapung Pulau Suri' and it is located in Kelantan.
How to get there?
From Kota Bharu, it might take 1 hour for you to go to Tumpat (the city where the floating market located). it is situated in Kampung Pantai Suri. If you take a bus from Kota Bharu to Tumpat, it might cost you RM19 only.
City centre->Kuala Besar Jetty Point->Boat->Kampung Pulau Suri
But if you are not familiar with the bus, you can take a taxi and asked to go to Kuala Besar Jetty Point and from there, you must take a boat. Then the boat will take you to the village and only cost you RM3 per person, one way.
But this floating market only open on Friday and Saturday from 10 am until 12:30 pm. Here, you will find about 10 boats who sell diversity of food

“Kelantan Floating Market will be opened on every Friday and Saturday from 10 am until 12:30 pm”
This place not only sell food but you can also find other items such as goodies, fresh produce, souvenirs and possibly everything you could think of.
